Tico "El Inmigrante"
Tico "el Inmigrante" is another new member of WY Records. He recently signed with the record label and agreed to make music with WY Records for at least four years. He is the first latino to sign under Wisin y Yandel's record label that is not a native of Puerto Rico. Tico "el Inmigrante" is a native of Venezuela and is very pround of that. Through majority of his tracks, he reminds his listeners that he is Venezuelan and represents his country proudly. Although we believe that Tico "el Inmigrante" will be very happy and successful under this record label, only time will tell if the Venezuelan will find his niche with the number one record label in reggaeton. Tico "el Inmigrante" has began making music with other artists under the label and has even released his own album. The release of his first album, which is self titled "Tico el Inmigrante" was on July 22, 2009. This was a big day for Tico "el Inmigrante" because not only did he release his first album under WY Records, he performed with Wisin y Yandel in his home land of Venezuela in the "La Revolucion" Tour. The record has been a success, and from the looks of things, is seems as though Tico "el Inmigrante" is satisfied with his decision to join WY Records. He has experienced much success with the singles that he released with Franco "el Gorila" Gadiel, Jowell y Randy, and Wisin y Yandel. Tico "el Inmigrante" and Gadiel are now forming a duo together to hopefully become as successful as label owners Wisin y Yandel.

Yaviah
Yaviah, is once of the most interesting members of the WY Records family. Yaviah is featured on some of the tracks on the records of the artists from WY Records, but he mainley writes and produces the unique sounds that come are heard on the records. Yaviah, whose real name is Javier Alexis Marcano Rodriquez and was originally from Santurce, Puerto Rico began his career in 1989 when he started break dancing. During this time, Rap and Hip hop had taked over the scene, and Yaviah was very interested in breakdancing to this style of music. When Yaviah first started out, reggaeton did not exsist. Reggaeton was soon to explode, and Yaviah would instantley be twisted into the reggaeton scene. In 1994, Yaviah began a recording deal with a record label that did not understand the type of music he was looking to make, so Yaviah soon moved to BlackFather Inc, where he currently is the CEO and is happy being in control of his own career and most of all, his own music. Thanks to songs like “Se Acelera el Flow”, “Boricueo”, “La Makina”, “Latigo”, “Este Party Va”, and “Sensual Bebe” and his recent hit singles like “Mato Conmigo”and “Contacto”, Yanviah has become a very well known artists and very popular in Puerto Rico and many other countries. Yaviah’s popularity has grown in a very particular and beneficial way. Becaurs of his sucess, he was asked by record label owners, Wisin y Yandel, to join their label, WY Records, to record songs with their artists and to produce music with a twist of his unique sound. Yaviah is currently in negotiations with Wisin y Yandel in regards to him officially becoming an artist under the WY Records label. We have high hopes for the his future with WY Records, especially after the release of his single, "Descara" with Wisin y Yandel and Yomo. Keep your fingers crossed! Yaviah would be a great edition to the WY Records family.

Yomo released his album "My Destiny" in November 2008 and dedicated the whole album to his ex-wife who now lives in Miami, Florida. While artists such as Don Omar and Daddy Yankee were taking control of the reggaeton scene, Yomo was developing on the underground reggaeton scene. He first began working with artists in the reggaeton buisness and became a regularly featured artist on many albums. Success came to Yomo when he realease his single '"Déjale Caer To' El Peso"', which topped the music charts. However, it was not untill the release of the hit "Descara", where Yomo was featured by Wisin y Yandel, that he became a hit in the U.S and the Caribbean. At the beginning of 2010, Yomo released his song Lio, which has become very popular. He will continue being featured with other artists under WY Records until he decides to cross record labels and officially become part of the WY Record family. Jowell y Randy
Jowell & Randy are one of the most popular reggaeton artists that have arised since the mid 2000's. Jowell Munoz Marinez, born in Springfield, Massachusetts on March 3, 1982, and Randy Acevedo Ortiz, born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on January 15, 1983, formed their dynamic duo in the early 2000's after being introduced to one another by a producer the two were working with. The two both started their solo careers years before, but soon joined when they discovered eachothers' talent. Jowells recorded his first song in 1996 entitled "Los Fugitivos" and Randy came onto the reggaeton scene in 1998 working on a record that was being produced by In House Magazine. Individually, Jowell & Randy displayed their talent, but it was not until the duo came together and recorded their first single, Todavia Recuerdo, that they were truly recognized on the reggaeton scene. This song was highly recognized by many radio stations, leading Jowell y Randy to record more music, which would later be a huge success. They recorded music on records entitled Time to Kill Vol. 2, Zona de Perreo, and Ground Zero. They gained fame in the United States with the release of their song "No Voy a Parar" and have now been featured in songs with other popular reggaeton artists such as Tito "El Bambino" and De La Ghetto. Jowell y Randy also formed the group Casa de Leones with three other artists and released the song No Te Veo, which has been their most popular song thus far. Jowell y Randy decided to change labels, officially joining the artists under WY Records and will soon be releasing their second album entitled "El Momento" in March 2010.

Gadiel, who is the brother of Yandel, was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico and began his reggaeton career with artist Lobo. The duo did not last very long, and their partnership soon terminated after the release of the duo's single "Se La Monte." After putting his name out there, Wisin y Yandel invited Gadiel and Lobo to become part of WY Records. Gadiel accepted and Lobo turned down the offer for unknown reasons. Wisin, Yandel, and Gadiel began making music under WY Records, and together, the trio released "Impossible y Movitame." After the release of these songs, Gadiel began working with other artists under WY Records. He was featured by artists such as Franco "El Gorilla, Yomo, Don Omar, and Jowell y Randy. During this time, Franco "El Gorila" used the stage name, Franco Flex. It was not until Franco became part of the label Sangre Nueva Musica that he began calling himself "El Gorila." At this same time, Wisin y Yandel were making the transition over to WY Records, but had currently been signed under Sangre Nueva Musica. Musical History of Wisin y Yandel
Wisin y Yandel made their debut on DJ Dicky's release of No Fear 3, in 1998. The album was released by Fresh Productions and later that year Wisin & Yandel signed to their label and released their debut album: Los Reyes del Nuevo Milenio. All of the albums released after their debut were large sucesses in the Latin American markets. Both Wisin & Yandel also released solo albums. However, it was not until the release of Pa'l Mundo, in 2005, that they caught the attention of non-Spanish speaking audiences. The duo have produced several chart topping hits and have even come out with their own record label, WY Records. WY Records is the strongest label, ranked number one, for reggaeton artists, stealing the spot from Daddy Yankee's El Cartel Records, and also putting Don Omar's All Star Records in third place in ranking. Since the beginning of their career, Wisin & Yandel also done several collaborations with English speaking artists such as R Kelly, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Nelly Furtado, Fat Joe, Eve, G-Unit, Akon,T-Pain, and 50 Cent. The duo was also nominated for a MTV Music Video Award in 2009 in the category "Best Pop Video" for their video for the song Abusadora. These two talented individuals have gotten themselves to the top in the Latin American markets and are on their way to the top in the American markets as well. Wisin creates a sick flow while Yandel is waiting to serenade you with his words. Soon, everyone in America will be standing in line for their Wisin & Yandel concert ticket.
Wisin y Yandel
Wisin & Yandel, the dynamic reggaeton duo from Cayey, Puerto Rico, have been making music together since 1995 and have been unstoppable ever since. Juan Luis Morera, Wisin, was born December 19,1978. Llandel Veguilla Malave Salazar, Yandel, was born on January 14, 1977. Wisin is married to Yomaira Ortiz and together the two have one daughter, Yelena, and one son, Dylan. Yandel is married to Edneris Espada, and they have two sons, Adrian and Derek. Before Wisin & Yandel began their careers as reggaeton artists, Yandel was studying theatre and acting, while Wisin was working as a barber. The two fell in love with reggae-Panamanian Dancehall music, later named reggaeton, and jumped into the underground music scene in Puerto Rico. When reggaeton was in its beginnings, most of the albums made came from DJ's putting several of their artists that they were promoting and combining them all on one disc. Wisin y Yandel began doing this and followed the same route as many of the other artists in the industry, beginning their journey to sucess. Wisin y Yandel soon became an instant sucess and are now the hottest names in reggaeton. From all of their success and the realease of nine studio albums, Wisin y Yandel have become the number one artists on the Reggaeton scence, and they do not look as though they will be leaving the number one spot any time soon. Their biggest moment thus far was when the duo decided to start their own record label, call it WY Records, and take some of the smaller names on the reggaeton scene and make them some of the biggest names that reggaeton has ever seen. The record label has succeeded in its goal and is now the number one records label for reggaeton artists.
